Beth Israel Center is proud to provide programming for children on Shabbat morning.  Please check the calendar during the summer months (or see below) for dates the following services will take place.  Childcare will be provided for children 18 months through preschool, from 10:00 am through the end of services, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Matchilim (Beginners):  This service meets from 10:30-11:15 in the Multipurpose room and is geared towards babies, toddlers and preschoolers and their adults.  Make this your child's first introduction to the Shabbat morning service: with lots of singing and interactive activities and always a special Torah story.  

Shorashim (Roots): This service, for students in kindergarten, first and second grades, meets in room 104 from 10:30-11:15 and then goes up to the Sanctuary for Musaf.  Our leaders provide Shabbat and age appropriate activities, including prayers, songs, stories, drama, games and more.  Please be sure to drop off your children on time.  Adults are more than welcome to stay and participate.  

Dates for upcoming children's services will be published soon!  Children's services will not take place May 26.
